Kate Stewart

Serial Entrepreneur, Kate—previously of Bright Young Things and En Pointe Events—has been bringing her inspirational style and purposeful approach to events and hospitality experiences for over two decades.

Over the years, Kate has worked on everything from The World's Longest Lunch to new suburb launches, to pop up ice rinks and Guinness World Records. She's catered more polo events than she can count, spent years lovingly creating for The Melbourne Food + Wine Festival, going above and beyond for NFP galas, and (now she's showing off!) worked on Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday in Hyde Park and in Monaco for the Grand Prix.

Through Kate’s unique lens of strategic problem solving, events are elevated from the quotidian to the extraordinary.

Hannah DerJeu

Hannah has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in project management) and has a background working in staffing and events for The Big Group plus hands on experience with multiple hospitality companies. She regularly volunteers with FareShare, loves a festival and leads our sustainability projects.

Ryan Barwood

Throughout his career, he has provided advice to Ministers and Executives on policies, projects, and crisis management. Additionally, he has effectively managed and mentored professionals in team sizes ranging from 20 to on-site teams of 100+. His project management expertise extends across the Asia Pacific and North America, working with organisations such as the NSW Government, Victorian Government, Australian Federal Government, Qantas, Aesop, and NAB. Most recently director for Comm Games.

Dean Worthington

Dean has held senior leadership roles in a variety of organisations, including Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, and Arts Mildura, where he served as CEO + Creative Director. He's secured millions of dollars in investment for NFP organisations, devised new multi-arts festivals, experiences and programs, and developed bold new visual brands and identities.

In a career spanning almost thirty years, she's worked agency-side, client-side, and freelance for brands including Swinburne, Frasers Property, The Y, Intrepid and Development Victoria.

Tim's work has been recognised amongst the nation's best at the Australian Graphic Design Association's awards night on five occasions, and he has provided creative solutions for Australia Post, The University of Melbourne, City of Yarra and Yamaha Music Australia.

Every team needs a processes queen - and Ollie brings many years experience as a program manager in the events and health sectors to EBC. Strategic, analytical and organised with a capital O, she ensures we can continue to knowledge build as we go and lean into efficiencies and the latest tech to most effectively collaborate and manage projects.

A brilliant communicator and natural people person, Lou is a former lawyer with a breadth of career experience spanning marketing, advertising, publishing, production and events. Lou brings a breath of fresh air to every project, common sense and commercial acumen.
